What are casino originals?

Originals have a few things in common:

  • Provably fair. Results come from server seed, client seed and nonce, and can be verified after the fact.
  • Simple rules and published math. Payout tables or formulas are visible, so RTP can be calculated exactly.
  • Low house edges compared with most slots, often around 1%.
  • Settings players control: rows and risk in Plinko, win chance in Dice, target multiplier in Limbo.

They're not the same as third-party games that look similar. A "Plinko" licensed from a studio usually runs on a certified RNG instead of a seed system, so you can't verify individual results yourself. Check whether the game shows seeds and a nonce.

Crypto gambling grew out of originals: some of today's largest crypto casinos started as a single provably fair Dice game.

  • What "provably fair" actually meansProvably fair in plain words: server seed, client seed, nonce and hash. A walkthrough on a real casino's algorithm, and what it can't prove.
  • What is RTP (return to player)?RTP is the share of all bets a game pays back over the long run. How to calculate it from a Plinko payout table, and what RTP can't tell you.
  • What is a server seed? The server seed is the casino's secret random value behind every result. How it's committed with a hash, revealed on rotation and used to verify bets.
  • What is a multiplier?A multiplier is what an outcome pays relative to your bet. Why most Plinko multipliers are below 1×, and how multipliers and probabilities make RTP.
