How to compare Plinko RTP, multipliers and volatility

Plinko comparisons are most useful when they preserve the complete configuration: operator, rows, risk and payout-table snapshot. The balanced board probabilities come from the number of rows, but the multipliers are chosen by the operator. A change in either the board or the table can alter the results you are comparing.

The list above shows the selected table’s return and maximum payout. Each operator profile links to the captured table sources and replay evidence. It does not assume that the highest maximum multiplier is the best value, or that the highest RTP guarantees a successful session. Read the common outcomes as carefully as the rare ones: central slots are reached by many more paths than the edges.

Read theoretical return alongside payout frequency

RTP is calculated by weighting every total-return multiplier by its slot probability. A larger weighted average means a lower theoretical house edge for that configuration, before any costs outside the game table. It does not describe the balance you should expect to see after a handful of drops, and it cannot account for operator terms absent from the captured table.

The probability of a profitable drop is a different measure: it counts the slots paying more than the stake. A table can produce frequent modest returns while assigning a large part of its RTP to a very rare payout. Use the calculator to inspect a target multiplier instead of treating RTP as a hit rate.

Risk names are not a common scale

The controls retain each operator's original labels. BC.Game's captured Classic configuration and Stake's captured tables do not need identical names or the same number of risk levels. Compare the actual payouts after matching the row count. A label alone does not establish which configuration has the larger bankroll swings.

For a practical view of those swings, run the selected table in the simulator. Keep bet size, starting bankroll and session length constant when comparing sessions. Otherwise, a difference caused by a much larger stake can be mistaken for a difference in the underlying game.

Keep table evidence and replay evidence separate

A captured table supports calculations about that snapshot. A replay adapter supports checking a path and slot from revealed seeds under a particular algorithm. Verified means the stated adapter has matched independently captured rounds with recorded commitments; Reference describes more limited provenance. Neither label certifies all operator activity.

Open the corresponding Plinko verifier to inspect its supported mode and evidence. BC.Game's current adapter covers Classic normal mode, not Lightning or directional-bias modes. Stake's adapter remains Reference. These limits should stay visible when interpreting a side-by-side comparison.

Before using an operator link

An operator link is separate from the mathematical comparison. Availability depends on location and current operator rules; a link being shown is not proof that an account or a particular game is available to you. Follow the operator profile for the rules recorded in our data and check the applicable terms yourself.

Some outbound links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission when a reader signs up through them, but the commission does not alter the displayed table or calculation. Our affiliate disclosure and methodology explain that distinction.

FAQ

Why can I choose a different risk for each operator?
Risk names belong to the operator. Matching names do not ensure matching payout distributions. Game settings keeps each original label and shows the chosen configuration.
Why is Visit disabled for an operator?
The operator or affiliate link may be unavailable in your region, or availability could not be confirmed. The nearby message explains the reason; the calculation remains available.
Does a larger maximum payout mean a better return?
No. Return weights every payout by its probability. A very large top multiplier may be extremely rare.
